Spend three to seven days with us and visit some of the most impressive historical sites and areas of natural beauty in Sicily.

Below is a selection of the most beautiful towns, beaches and historical sites within touching distance of our Agriturismo, including a UNESCO World Heritage Roman villa with a breathtaking 60 meter mosaic, an archeological museum, a Greek and a Byzantine village, a necropolis, many castles, and an abandoned mine. We have also partnered with a local stable to offer horse riding adventures through the picturesque landscapes of our region.

Short Trips

  • Villa Romana del Casale

    Located at only 8km from us, this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Roman ruins in Sicily - a incredibly well preserved villa with 40 rooms, decorated with intricate mosaics.

  • Morgantina & Aidone

    Located at 20km from us, this is an Ancient Greek settlement first occupied in 1000BC and and is Princeton University’s principle site of research on classical Sicily. You can find the accompanying historical museum at Aidone.

  • Byzantine Village

    Located a 30min drive from us, this is an incredible village carved into the rock and founded during the Byzantine occupation of Sicily between 535 and 827AD. It is right next to the town of Calascibetta.

  • Parco di Floristella

    An open-air museum dedicated to one of the most important industrial archeology sites in Sicily. You’ll find two abandoned sulphur mines that were active between 1700 and 1986, nestled in a beautiful national park.

  • Mount Etna

  • Riviera del Ciclopi

    Visit the Riviera del Ciclopi, a coastal gem that includes the charming towns of Acitrezza and Acicastello. Explore the unique rock formations, enjoy scenic walks along the promenade and sample the excellent seafood of Acitrezza, or head to Acicastello for its narrow streets, rocky beaches and stunning Norman castle perched atop a volcanic cliff.

  • Favara

    Favara is a charming town where contemporary art, history, and natural beauty meets thanks to the vibrant Farm Cultural Park, a stately owned noble palace abandoned for 25 years has been transformed into a surprising place of art, culture, education and research.

  • Agrigento

    A captivating city known for its rich history and stunning archaeological treasures. Home to the renowned Valley of the Temples the city offers a fascinating journey into the ancient past. Explore Greek temples, stroll through picturesque streets, and savour the local Sicilian cuisine.

  • Cefalù

    With its charming historic center, pristine sandy beaches, and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, Cefalù is a true paradise for visitors. Explore the iconic Cefalù Cathedral, wander through narrow streets lined with quaint shops and restaurants, or simply bask in the sun on the golden shores.

  • Syracusa

    Visit one of the most important cities in Sicily. Immerse yourself in ancient history at the UNESCO-listed Ortigia Island, explore Greek ruins and the magnificent Syracuse Cathedral. Breakfast

Breakfast is between 8am and 10am each morning included in the price of the room. Gluten free products are available with advance notice.

Check-in & Check-out

Check in is 2pm to 9pm. Check-out is at 10am. However, we’re happy to look after your bags if you need to leave later.

Late Check Out

The cost of late check-out (until a maximum of 7pm), is 50% of the daily rate and is subject to availability. You can also use the pool between 10am and 7pm for €15,00.

Payment

You can confirm your reservation by providing us with your card details. We will not charge your card in advance. You can use all credit cards except Diners.

Cancellation

You can cancel at no cost up to 7 days before your trip. If cancelled, or modified within 7 days the full price of the reservation will be charged.
